Dr. Gleave is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to their neighbors in the communities of Las Vegas.
Rodney
S. Gleave, DMD, grew up between California and Utah. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he earned his
dental degree from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He held a general practice
residency in Loma Linda, California, before operating a private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah, for 25 years and relocating
recently to the great city of Las Vegas. He finds dentistry as exciting now as it was when he was just starting out.
Dr. Gleave continues to study and explore the field of dentistry and has attended thousands of hours of continuing education
courses. He finds it stimulating to learn new techniques and procedures and loves to share that knowledge with his patients.
Most recently, his studies have covered dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, snoring and sleep apnea treatments, laser dentistry,
sedation dentistry, and TMD pain and bite problems. Changing a person’s smile or restoring missing teeth with dental implants can
truly change their lifestyle, which he finds incredibly rewarding. He also gains satisfaction in helping patients just maintain
their dental health by preventing gum disease and breakdown of their teeth. Through his dedication to continuing education and
training, Dr. Gleave has achieved fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a graduate of the Misch
Implant Institute and the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Gleave spends his free time coaching youth baseball and basketball. He is the father of six children and is a recent grandfather.
He also enjoys many sports and loves to be outdoors. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of
Cosmetic Dentists, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentists. Throughout the
year, he volunteers his time and dental expertise to the ADA’s Give Kids a Smile program, in which provides dental services to kids
who do not have access to quality dental care. He also volunteers for the Give Back a Smile Program, which helps restore smiles for
battered women.
